It has a lift top which opens to reveal a number of compartments; open and closed. Self locking brass hinges keep the top up, erecting a shelf with many open compartments for letters, telegrams, stationary, post cards etc. There's an assortment of closed segments in various sizes for personal effects and valuable items, offering utmost organisation and order.
