COLONEL TOD’S FIELD DESK

Named after Colonel James Tod, the Tod Field Desk embodies the inspiring efforts of a travelling writer. As an officer in the East India Company, he meticulously chronicled his travels across India. This functional Rosewood writing table is a suitable ally for any dedicated worker. It’s compelling design allows it to be folded closed upwards owing to the X shaped legs, when not in use. Two brass locks on both sides of the desk keep it held open and A solid brass button clicks the table shut when closed. The interior is lined with genuine buffalo leather in Tan or Burgundy, topped off with clever little pockets store stationery articles such as postcards, letters, stamps etc. In the absence of a study, this delicately sized table can be used practically anywhere!
