This Campaign Dresser is one of our favorites with its easy collapsible mechanism, making it the perfect camping equipage to ensure you are as comfortable at camp as at home. Built from the finest rosewood and finished to a fine glossy sheen. Its lightweight and knockdown size is a great asset for travel.

MEERUT CLOTHES STAND

Ordinarily found in old officers messes during the time of the British Raj, this rosewood piece stands tall and carries out its service as a clothes stand rather elegantly. It folds entirely flat- an impressive feature for a design so monumental. Thus deeming it suitable for transport. This was an asset for travelling camps and companies as they would carry their “bandobast” wherever they were posted. Solid brass fittings and hinges permit this function while simultaneously adding to its charm and strength. The bottom compartment serves as a neat storage space for fresh linen or even boots, as it did back in the old days. This particular design was found in an officers mess in Meerut and earns its name from there. It makes an excellent addition to your safari camp collection.

Carefully handcrafted to the last detail, the Kandahar Field Bar exhibits the smart pairing of brass against croc embossed leather. Styled after campaign military mess equipment from the Sapper Units stationed in the upper Himalayas. A treasure chest to extinguish thirst at unforgiving postings, the bar played a very fine role for soldiers after a hard day's work in the field. It is armored with solid brass corners and a single brass lock at the front and tough leather straps on both sides to fasten it shut when carried about. Inside you will find 6 tumbler compartments on a shelf that slides out and cleverly doubles as a tray, as well as 6 slots for spirits, generously spaced.
