The Cunningham Stool is a minimalist design with a lot to offer. Its strong rosewood legs and canvas/leather sling make it extremely hardy yet lightweight: a challenging combination to achieve! The folding stool compliments our classic Cunningham Roorkhee chair beautifully as it also doubles as a footstool. With matching leg carvings, they make a perfect set. The stool folds flat, making it fit for travel as well as storage. This comfortable style makes an excellent addition to your home, garden or camping trip.

Styled after campaign military mess equipment from the Sapper Units stationed in the upper Himalayas. It is armored with solid brass corners and a single brass lock at the front and tough leather straps on both sides to fasten it shut when carried about. To fold it, the Canvas back is lifted off its post, which allows the arms to drop on their hinges to the sides of the legs. The X frame legs can then be folded, once their riveted locking bars are opened. Highest quality 24 oz canvas has been used making this one of the finest and strongest chairs for field use.
