Campbell Military Chest

Military Chests are representative of the most common type of Campaign Furniture- this particular chest is based on a mid 19th century design. Without question, it was a part of every officers kit and accompanied them on postings. Brass bound, this chest of drawers can be dismantled into two parts and has removable feet making it ideal for travel- relieving the life of a soldier and explorer on the move. Items were often efficiently stored in the chest during transportation and easily reassembled on arrival. Made from solid rosewood, this beautiful chest promises stylish storage in your home, office or tent. Decorated with custom made brass corners for protection and ornate brass drawer pulls, lending to a classic campaign look. The chest has five generous compartments in total- with two smaller drawers stacked on three long drawers. To fold it, the Canvas back is lifted off its post, which allows the arms to drop on their hinges to the sides of the legs.
